The CCM is great! Spanish is coming along really well. We teach people
every day in our IP and we just committed one of our IPs to baptism. It
was so cool even though they aren't real. But they are pretty hard on us
in there so I guess we did good. But anyways, this week we get to go proselyting in Buenos Aires. It should be so fun. The elders that went
out last week actually started teaching a family, and some got robbed,
but my comp has been boxing for the past 5 years, and i am
pretty big, so we will be fine. Just
kidding, we would go to jail. But today we get to go to the temple
again. We went last week and it was absolutely beautiful. The spirit is
so strong there. I cant wait to go back today. We had the most
incredible thunderstorm this week, it was the most beautiful thing i
have ever seen.
Spanish is coming along
really good, we just got a new group of latinos today because the other
group left Tuesday. They are a lot quieter than the other group, but
hopefully they will open up, and no, I havent gotten out to get that
meat! I want to go get some soooo bad. I am going to respond to all of you the best i can
with the time I have. I love you all. you are in my prayers. I am doing
my best out here. 4 weeks left till the field!!! I have no more time, sorry it was so short. Tell
everyone i love them and that the church is true.!!

Man this week has been so crazy. In Atlanta I met up with about
16 other missionaries, 10 elders & 6 sisters. Then we got on the gnarly
flight to buenos aires, 9 hours, in the middle row, with a bar under my
seat and no leg room. It was kinda miserable. But we landed in Buenos Aires, went through customs, got on a random bus, gave the guy our money
and passports, and started driving, haha. It was sketchy, but we turned
out okay. We have 200 pesos but we dont buy anything at the CCM becuase
there arent any stores. We got here and were assigned our
companions. My comp is elder Finnegan. he is from St Louis and he is such a
stud. We have a ton in common, like his favorite movie is top gun!!! He
legit looks like goose! I'll send you a pic when i get the chance.
The CCM is cool, super busy all day, no free time basically. I play soccer
every day with the latinos so tell Corinne to step her game up cause im
gonna kick her butt when i get home. Seriously though, the way they play
soccer is unreal!!! So in our room we have 8 people, me and my comp and
then 6 Latinos. We speak no english, not in class, not at meals. So my
spanish is coming along well, but its not me. I know the Espiritu Santo
is helping me out big time. P'day is the bomb. We just play soccer all
day and then write family. Getting emails is like Christmas! Soo cool. I
feel bad because I cant write everyone. So anyways. there is this place
outside the CCM that apparently has the best meat in Argentina. and its
always packed! I want to go soo bad as smoke from the bbqs is there 24/7. And
i guess there is no rules for the road down here? I saw a guy with a
horse drawn wagon full of stuff driving down the freeway, no joke, a
guy with a horse and a trailer trotting down a freeway with semi trucks
and huge buses!! There are all these wild horses in the field outside
the CCM and packs of wild dogs are always walking around the CCM. You
have to watch your food. You cant leave your tray outside cause they
will eat it, haha.
Anyways, we have to go, i am being kicked off. I will
write more next week. I love and miss you all.

I MADE IT!!!!
I can only write three lines today because it is just to let you
know I made it here. But just to let you know I can receive emails from
anyone at this address (daniel.staffieri@myldsmail.net) but I have to respond by an actual letter unless
its family. Its seriously amazing down here. Beautiful country, I cant
wait to go out and talk to people. The flight was sooooo long. But we
made it and that's what counts! I can't wait to learn the language and
spread the gospel everywhere. That's I can write today. But Thursday is
the day to email me and I will respond. I love you all!!!

Hey guys! I am finally leaving!!!! I fly out of San Diego tomorrow morning and will arrive in Buenos Aires, Argentina Thursday morning to receive training for six weeks before proceeding on to Uruguay. It's so unreal to think its actually happening. I am so stoked to go out and serve for the next two years! I love this gospel! It's the best thing in my life. I have been so blessed with this opportunity to go out and serve the people of Uruguay for the next two years. I am excited to share this gospel and the happiness it brings through the atonement of Christ. I cannot wait to testify about eternal families, living prophets, the power of the priesthood, the Book of Mormon, and all that the gospel has to offer!
I will miss you all! But I will write as often as I can. I will keep you updated. Write me as much as you can. My addresses will be posted on here every time they change. You can write me for the next few weeks at:

Argentina Missionary Training Center

I love you all! See you soon!
